Role Overview:

As a Medical Accounts Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the practice's financial administration. Your duties will involve precise billing, proactive credit control, and thorough analysis of age analysis reports. You will also play a key role in managing creditor accounts and resolving queries from multiple stakeholders, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive medical billing processes.

• Implement and maintain robust credit control procedures.

• Accurately analyse and report on Age Analysis data.

• Perform all receipting functions promptly and accurately.

• Oversee creditors' accounts, including managing petty cash.

• Generate essential monthly financial reports.

• Effectively handle and resolve queries from patients, Medical Aids, and internal departments.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in a medical accounting environment is essential.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Demonstrable experience with medical billing and credit control.

• Strong numerical aptitude and accounting abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

• Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate positively within a team setting.

• Computer literacy is fundamental.

• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.

• Possession of a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
